An insight into ‘DI Towers’ - The York Eco Business Centre
York Eco Business Centre is a small business community offering an excellent opportunity for small businesses to interact with like minded people, offer help and support in times of need and celebrate success. Since April 2010, it‟s also been the base of Digital Invoicing, and what a fantastic location it‟s turned out to be. Home to around 60 businesses of varying sizes, and offering business advice and mentoring, this well-appointed and modern centre is a hub of business opportunity in the York region.

Digital Invoicing has always been able to “sell itself” - people only have to try it and usually they’re “hooked”, and almost always, new customers come up with uses for the system which had never crossed our minds.
The YEBC were no exception - managing the monthly rentals for 60 businesses was both tedious and time consuming - especially since most of the businesses were paying by standing-order in the first place. We were asked if Digital Invoicing could make Vanita’s (pictured) life easier - was there a way to save some time in setting up, emailing and signing off all these invoices every month?
The answer of course, was “yes” - the Recurring Invoices feature was just the job. This allows users to set up “master” invoices which the system will automatically email out to clients on a regular basis (the frequency is up to you). We’ve just introduced some new “mail merge” features allowing these invoices to automatically include the date when they‟re generated on an invoice line, which means that Vanita can sit back and relax in the knowledge that her rental invoices are taking care of themselves - and since we‟re one of the businesses she invoices, we know it works!
DI Towers
Hi everyone - we’re just getting started with this Tumblr lark, so we thought we’d and upload the most embarrassing photo we could find (and beat everyone else to it).
Digital Invoicing is a business management tool for everyone who doesn’t want to be an accountant. It’s been around since 2009, and we’re really pleased with the feedback we’re getting from our customers.

So if you run a small business or organisation, and want to take back control of your cash-flow, then try out Digital Invoicing, there’s even a free trial.
{SALES PITCH: END}
We’re going to be using Tumblr to tell you about not only the business side of things, but loads of other stuff as well - some serious, some less so (and let’s face it, invoicing is never going to be sexy).
Hope you enjoy, and please feel free to comment.
